Located near Tsutenkaku, Janjan Yokocho (alley) has plenty of B-class gourmet that's both delicious and cheap.
From Osaka Metro Dobutsuen-mae station to Tsutenkaku, you can find Nanyodori Shopping Arcade, more commonly known as Janjan Yokocho (alley), 180m long arcade from north to south.
The name Janjan is said to come from the sound and beat of the Shamisen and drums that were played to attract customers around after the war.
From the typical "no double dipping sauce" Kushikatsu restaurants, Yakiniku, local diners, Sushi, Udon, to standing izakayas, this area is crowded by the locals.
