An urban zoo with over 100 years of history, covering 11 hectares of land, Tennoji zoo cares for 1000 animals and 200 species.
The zoo's exhibits recreate the animals' native habitat to the fullest extent possible. Visitors can experience the feel of natural environments that are home to a variety of living things.
For a limited time, the zoo will also offer a Night Zoo experience allowing visitors the rare opportunity to view animals during their nighttime activities.
