The Kyoto Imperial Palace was the residence of the emperor and home of the Imperial Gardens.
There are plenty of spots for photography in the wide, open space, and can be enjoyed from season to season throughout the year.
The gravel of the Imperial Gardens make for a very easy walk - simple shoes will do just fine.
