World Cultural Heritage Site located on the south side of Kyoto station.

The wooden tower at a height of 54.8 and 5 stories is the tallest structure of its kind in all of Japan, which lights up during the spring and fall seasons.
The flea market and handmade arts and crafts market (kobo market) are worth seeing too.
