Higashi Honganji Temple can be found to the east side of the Nishi Honganji Temple.
The temple's biggest highlight is the "Goei-do" founder's hall which is located within the grounds.
This founder's hall measures a width of 76m by a depth of 58m, and a height of 38m, making it one of the world's largest wooden structures of its kind.
