The Kenninji temple is popular for being a construction rich with history, as well as its beautiful rock garden and surrounding trees that transform with the seasons.

Many temples can be found in the vast precincts, including those that are famous cultural properties, such as the artwork of the Wind and Thunder Gods.
The Kenninji temple is well known for its scenes of leaves in the Kyoto fall, but there are plenty of other beautiful attractions in the spring, summer and winter as well.
