The triple "Sanmon" gate of Chion-in is one of the largest wooden structures in all of Japan. Chion-in lights up among the fall leaves for a uniquely beautiful atmosphere.
The bell of Chion-in is also noteworthy. Its enormous size is considerably more impressive considering its weight of 70 tons.
