Arrive at Togetsukyo bridge, and enjoy the scenery and natural beauty of the surrounding mountains and river valley. Cross Togetsukyo bridge and walk through the town of Arashiyama, and head towards Arashiyama Bamboo forest.

The Bamboo Forest Trail

This area has been culturally significant for over 1000 years. The bamboo cultivated by the nobles of the Heian era still remains. Walk through and enjoy the beauty of the bamboo forest.

Arashiyama

Walk around the town of Arashiyama and enjoy your lunch break in the area. Enjoy some local cuisine, or grab a bite from one of the food stalls in the area. You can also shop for souvenirs for you and your family. This area offers various souvenirs great for everyone.

Kinkakuji Temple

Depart Arashiyama on board our private vehicle and drive 25 minutes to the beautiful and iconic Golden Pavilion, also known as Kinkakuji Temple. Both the pavilion and its surrounding garden were designed to be a paradise on earth. It’s beauty alone has inspired whole branches of Japanese arts and culture.

Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine

Depart Arashiyama, and drive 50 minutes to the amazing Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, founded over 1300 years ago for the god Inari Okami, who exists in the peaks of Mt. Inari. The red gates are donated by worshipers who have had their prayers answered by the shrine.
